–June 2009–
When I started this blog last year, I sure didn’t think I would be heading BACK to Seattle in less than a year. But you just never know what your future will bring.
Now 10 months later I am heading back to my same job in Seattle, but with a new perspective and a new boyfriend in tow as well! LOL Although my time in DC was short, it was life changing for me, and I am looking forward to going back to Seattle and really enjoying it this time.
Again – if you see me backsliding – give me a hard time!

Letts Go is about starting fresh. It is beginning as a blog about my drive from Seattle, WA to Washington, DC, but I’m hoping that it ends up being a blog about coming out of the fog and back into the world.
These last 3 years I have become a hermit. Get up, go to work, go home, and then do it all over again. I never leave my apartment, rarely do anything except on a rare occasion. So I’m hoping that this move will help me to shake off this funk and get out there again. Heaven forbid, I may actually go on a date! LOL And I’ll document it on this blog. So if you see me backsliding in the blog – give me a hard time!

You know, I never read your ‘about me’ section. If you think about it, you totally did what you set out to do when you moved across the country. DC – while sadly short for me – WAS totally life changing for you. I am selfishly glad you did it because I got to see you so much more, but on your behalf, I’m thrilled you did it because you really changed your perspective (or whatever) and blossomed. Change is good.
I love going back and reading your blog. Its like a time capsule of your life since the move. <3 Linda
