I have a new job. I’m moving yet again. Another new address, another new phone number. I’m probably driving ya’ll nutz.
But great news! I joined the 21st century. I had to get myself a new phone – an iPhone, and I bought my first digital camera ever. And now I am blogging – what more could you want?
Okay possibly for me to pick a place and stay there, but what’s the fun in that?
Anyway, I’m hoping to blog my way across America since I have decided to drive to Washington, DC from Seattle. I know it is a little crazy with the price of gas. But they wanted $2000 to ship the car – I can drive it for that amount. And how many times do you really have such an opportune reason to do it?
My friend Glenn at work has assured me that I can blog from my nifty new iPhone, so I hope to do that along the way. I will have to test it out first though. And hopefully my procrastinating ways don’t get the better of me and leave you with this one lowly post and nothing else. LOL
This week is packing and wrapping up at my present job as Studio Manager for Wunderman Impact in Seattle. I will hopefully be blogging a little during the week as I get the hang of this – cross your fingers for me.
The drive starts midday on Friday October 3rd. =)

Very cool… and about time! I’m looking forward to taking this journey with you. I can’t wait to have you back East!
Did you make that traveling map? Now, if you were uber cool (and no doubt you are) the sites would do some fancy flash thing as you reach those locations.
Whats scary is… someone could look at your route and stalk you and follow you across country and do spooky, unspeakable things to you. Ok, yeah, I watch too much CSI and Supernatural kind of shows.
PS. back in the day – I used to blog from the train, so I know it can be done. And a girl at work blogged from her iPhone in Macchu Picchu. If we can do it, it should be a breeze for you!
wait… iPhone! you got an iPhone. You jumped right into the 21st century! whoo hoo!!!
Love you!

I don’t have time to do the ultra cool flash thing for each of the stops. Although the thought crossed my mind, you are lucky to get this! LOL
And I should know to count on you to make my ultra cool trip across country suddenly seem sinister…. What if…..blah blah blah. LOL
But Ali doesn’t know it yet, but I have plans for her – does the word Password mean anything to you? Mwahahahaha

Come on Brian – why can’t I be like everyone else? I want to cause accidents and go over the side of the Grand Canyon.
That’s what REALLY happened to Thelma and Louise!

Guess what I didn’t put all the information in so my first draft is somewhere out there in lala land. Now – I wondered what you did with all that mail you were accumulating while we were out there!! now I know!!! That is what shredders are made for I believe all the junk mail people are in cohoots with the shredder companies. There are companies who will come and pick up your junk mail and dispose of it guaranteed !!! I am so proud of my adventureous daughter and hope you and Ali will be safe and stay on the road!! all my love Mom:)

That is so funny that you mentioned the pictures of gas prices across the US. I was planning on doing just that! LOL

Since you have your handy dandy iphone… there is a site called gasbuddy.com that tells you the cheapest gas prices in any given area. might give you some extra savings for your shredder fund!
