The movers came today and took it all. Well almost everything. I have my clothes, air mattress and a couple of other things. But no chair. Man I just want to sit in a chair. LOL

As I survey my empty apartment, it suddenly dawned on me that I now need to CLEAN said apartment. I wonder if I could get David back mid-week. =)

This weekend I packed up my apartment for the start of my next move. Well, actually I should say David packed and I helped.

For those of you who know me so well, and have had to come to my aid and save me from my procrastination, understand why David was here to help me pack. Bonnie called to check on me Sunday, and I told her we were almost done, no worries, because David was here helping me. I was answered with a very hearty “Thank God!”

I feel exactly the same.

Total number of boxes: David 47 – Meredith 11. Gotta love him. =)

Caffeinated and ready to pack!

Caffeinated and ready to pack!

I have a new job. I’m moving yet again. Another new address, another new phone number.  I’m probably driving ya’ll nutz.

But great news! I joined the 21st century. I had to get myself a new phone – an iPhone, and I bought my first digital camera ever. And now I am blogging – what more could you want?

Okay possibly for me to pick a place and stay there, but what’s the fun in that?

Anyway, I’m hoping to blog my way across America since I have decided to drive to Washington, DC from Seattle. I know it is a little crazy with the price of gas. But they wanted $2000 to ship the car – I can drive it for that amount. And how many times do you really have such an opportune reason to do it?

My friend Glenn at work has assured me that I can blog from my nifty new iPhone, so I hope to do that along the way. I will have to test it out first though. And hopefully my procrastinating ways don’t get the better of me and leave you with this one lowly post and nothing else. LOL

This week is packing and wrapping up at my present job as Studio Manager for Wunderman Impact in Seattle. I will hopefully be blogging a little during the week as I get the hang of this – cross your fingers for me.

The drive starts midday on Friday October 3rd. =)
